Thank you for being a part of Alamo Kitchens. I wanted to remind everyone of a few kitchen basics:
Shared Use. This is a shared use space. When working in the kitchen with another team or when customers are present, please reframe from loud music, music that includes vulgarity and using profanity of any kind.
When scheduling yourself, please allow time to complete your work, clean up and be out at the designated time. If you are in the space after your designated time, you will be charged at the standard rate. If you are in the space after your designated time and someone has reserved said space and time, you will be charged at the rates designated in our service agreement.
Cleaning. Each company is responsible to clean the kitchen after their usage. This includes wiping all counters, cleaning the stove top of food and debris, sweeping & moping, washing dishes throughly and turning them over to dry. Failure to clean appropriately will result in a $100 cleaning fee being added to your bill.
STORAGE: Any dry items left in the kitchen must be stored either, in your cage or on your shelf. Dry items stored in other locations are subject to disposal without notice. If you leave items out continually (more than twice) you are subject to a clean up fee.
COLD STORAGE: The walk-In Cooler is now available for rental. Please only store items in the walk in if you are paying for storage in the cooler. Cold items stored in the walk-in without permission are subject to disposal without notice and your bill is subject to reflect storage cost for that month, regardless how long they were in the space.
For day use cold storage, please use the milk cooler or the open half of the silver 2-door (against the back wall). Please do not store items in the day use coolers overnight. These items are subject to disposal. Cold items improperly stored are subject to disposal without notice. If you leave items out continually (more than twice) you are subject to a clean up fee.
Pantry. Items stored in the pantry are for Alamo Kitchens use only. Please do not enter or use anything in the pantry. Thank you
Cameras. The activity at Alamo Kitchens is under video surveillance.
Chef's Stored Equipment (starts at) $125 per month
CREDIT CARD ON FILE: The system may require a credit card be placed in the system before you can book your time in the kitchen.
TRASH: At the end of your kitchen time, PLEASE take out the garbage. The dumpster is on the side of The Oaks smoothie bar. Please make sure the garbage is INSIDE the dumpster. Once you take out the trash, please clean out any residual trash and turn the trash can over so nothing gets inside the can. This is will also ensure you have not left any debris in the trash can.
DUMPING GREASE: The grease dump is on the side of Taco Rey (behind the bush). Please ensure dispose of all grease in this container. Grease should not be put down the sink drain or left in the kitchen.
CLEANING. The kitchen will be clean when you enter and should be clean when you leave. Please schedule time to clean. The chemicals you need to clean are in the kitchen. Please sweep and mop as a part of your cleaning. You are welcome to bring your own dish soap if you have a preference.
Scheduling & Cancellation. You schedule your kitchen time online. You can schedule as far in advance as makes sense for your business. If you determine you don't need your scheduled kitchen time, please cancel it within 8 hours of the scheduled time to avoid being charged for the time.

PAPERWORK: Please send your updated insurance and food establishment permits (you would have received a new one in October) to cook@alamokitchen.com. The City requires all businesses storing food items in the kitchen to maintain a Food Establishment permit.
Client payments are due on the 1st of each month. Payment is considered late on the 5th of each month. Failure to pay after the 5th day of the month will result in a $100 late fee and/or suspension of access to Alamo Kitchens. A fee of $35 will be assessed to the Client's account for any returned checks.
Ad hoc reservations and event fees are due, in full, at the time of reservation. Additional kitchen hours accrued throughout the month will be billed at the end of the month. Additional fees for hold-over and/or improper cleaning and storage will be assessed at the time of infraction.
A default in payment shall be deemed to have occurred when payment is not received by the 5th day of the month. A finance charge of 2% will be assessed per month on any unpaid balance over 30 days. Client assumes all responsibility for any and all legal fees, including but not limited to attorneys' fees, incurred by Alamo Kitchens in connection with a default in payment by Client. In the event of a default of payment by Client, Alamo Kitchens takes a security interest in any and all property, inventory, or equipment of monies owed. Any sums remaining after paying all unpaid amounts owed by Client to Alamo Kitchens will be refunded to Client.
